Buying a Home is like building a home ...

You need to start with the foundation.  And in Real Estate, the foundation is Financing!

I always recommend that my clients get pre-approved for a loan, before they go out looking at homes.  I have seen many instances where people spend hours and hours looking for a home.  Then when they find one that they love, they either find out that they cannot really afford it, or another offer comes from a buyer who is pre-approved.  Guess which offer the seller takes.

Why Get Pre-Approved?

  • Many times, someone can afford more than they think, because of the wide variety of loan programs that are available.
  • You won't waste time looking at property that is outside your price range.
  • You are like a "Cash Buyer" because you already have the loan guaranteed ... as long as the seller's house appraises
  • You won't be stressed out about whether or not you will get the financing after you have already made an offer on a home.
